What we believe

What we believe is already thousands of years old, but still cannot be beaten by actuality. We believe that God is.

We believe…

that he is here,

that he is near,

that he is good,

that you can experience him … in the middle of Berlin or elsewhere.

We believe that the old message of the bible is relevant and experienceable today.

We believe what was recorded in confessions many years ago.

For example in the Apostles’ Creed

(see next page)

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,

maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

born of the virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died and was buried.

He descended into hell.

On the third day He rose again from the dead.

He ascended into heaven

and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.

From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the Holy Christian Church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting. Amen.

These divine but true lines are to be filled with life and to be broken down into the practice of a life in the 21^st century.

We believe that this is possible.
